MSM is Oskia’s signature ingredient. Methylsulfonylmethane is the most bio-available source of sulphur and is involved in 150 body function and processes, including amino acid formation. It helps increase collagen and elastin production, as well as having excellent anti-inflammatory and detoxifying properties.

Lactobacillus/Pumpkin Fruit Ferment Filtrate is a gentle alternative to AHAs. It removes dead skin cells, refines the texture of the skin and imparts a radiant glow. It’s made by fermenting pumpkin fruit with Lactobacillus Lactis. This results in complex biomolecules being broken down into phytochemicals, such as antioxidants and enzymes. These protect and enhance the skin. A 5% concentration is claimed to be as effective in cell renewal as 4% Glycolic Acid. But, unlike Glycolic Acid, Lactobacillus/Pumpkin Fruit Ferment Filtrate isn’t at all irritating, not even on the eye area.

Borage Seed Oil is super rich in Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA), an Omega 6 Fatty Acid. GLA helps maintain the health of the skin and strengthens its barrier function. It can help with inflammatory skin conditions and moisture retention.

This cleanser just blew all my other cleansers off the shelf, literally… It has a slight fragrance which is pleasant without being overwhelming, cleanses really well and leaves my skin feeling soft and velvety. There is really nothing bad I can say about it except that, if you are the type of person who wears a lot of makeup, you might need a double cleanse. I’m very minimal with makeup, so one pump of this melted into my skin and rinsed off with cold water is perfect. I’ve found my perfect non-oil cleanser 🙂
