The stars of the show is  blend of luxurious botanical oils: Grape, Sunflower, Meadowfoam, Prickly Pear and Pumpkin seed. These cold-pressed oils dissolve and lift away makeup lift while protecting your skin’s natural health. Cold-pressed oils are purer and retain more of their natural beneficial properties.

Grapeseed Oil is a super lightweight oil that’s protective, balancing, moisturising and soothing. Grapeseed Oil contains fatty acids and antioxidants, specifically polyphenols, to fight fine lines, sun spots and sagging.

Prickly Pear Seed Oil contains beneficial fatty acids, amino acids, phytosterols and antioxidants. Fatty acids strengthen the skin’s barrier function. This oil is particularly high in Omega 6, which helps with inflammation, healing and renewal. Amino acids are essential for healthy skin. They strengthen the skin’s defences, maintain its healthy  appearance and enhance its resilience. Phytosterols protect and promote collagen in the skin. Pestle & Mortar Erase Cleansing Balm review

Pestle & Mortar’s [cleansing] system is a cut above the rest. This is vain, but the non-fussy black-and-white packaging looks aggressively elegant in my bathroom cabinet. Additionally, unlike industry favourite, Eve Lom, Erase and Renew are developed without much maligned mineral oil. Most important, the system simply cleans my skin better. It’s hard to find face washes that simultaneously cleanse well and feel good. That this double-cleansing system does both and is more than a small victory.
