Key ingredients

Acetyl Heptapeptide-4 is a peptide comprising Alanine, Arginine, Glutamic Acid, Glutamine and Methionine. It conditions and hydrates the skin. And, according to the manufacturer, it has wrinkle-smoothing effects.

Squalane, which is similar to the skin’s own oil, adds moisture and restores suppleness. But it also does much more. Squalane helps neutralise damage caused by UV and protect against lipid peroxidation, which can lead to damage to skin cells and pores.

Shea Butter is a lovely moisturising and softening ingredient. It also has anti-inflammatory and healing properties, which makes it an ideal ingredient for hand creams.

Niacinamide does a lot of the heavy lifting in skin care products. This remarkable ingredient is actually Vitamin B3 and there’s little it can’t do. Niacinamide keeps the skin barrier healthy, reduces redness, regulates oil production, protects against sun damage, fades the look of sun spots, improves uneven tone, and minimises fine lines.

Marula Oil is naturally rich in antioxidants (Vitamin C, Vitamin E and polyphenols), amino acids and fatty acids. These help protect and restore. Marula Oil nourishes the skin, improves its resistance, calms irritation, reduces uneven tone, supports healing and may help protect collagen and elastin.

I never experienced dry hands until the pandemic – cold winter weather, hand sanitizer  and increased hand washing led to painfully dry and itchy hands for months on end. After only a few days of using this cream morning and night, my hands have gotten a million times better! I use a pea size amount twice a day. I love how thick this cream is, but also how quickly it absorbs — no greasiness left behind! The amount of product you get is definitely worth the price!
