Why Necessaire Body Lotion?

Necessaire Body Lotion uses high-grade actives usually reserved for the face, while leaving out anything questionable.

It took 10 iterations to get right. It needed to be a rich lotion that would strengthen and tone the skin, not just moisturise. It needed to provide lasting hydration but absorb fast. It needed to smooth and soften but not leave sticky or greasy residue.

Key ingredients

The key ingredients are:

Glycerin, Shea Butter, Jojoba, Marula Oil, Cacay Oil and Meadowfoam Oil hydrate, replenish and moisturise, while also delivering multiple other skin benefits.

Niacinamide is an antioxidant that protects the skin against environmental stressors and helps repair damage caused by UV. Niacinamide reduces inflammation and redness, balances oil production, strengthens the skin barrier and improves dullness. It also improves uneven tone and pigmentation by interfering with the transfer of pigment to the top layers of skin. But we’re not done yet. Niacinamide also has been shown to reduce the depth of wrinkles.

Green Tea Extract helps with irritation, inflammation and redness. As an antioxidant, it reduces premature skin ageing. Green Tea Extract contains Epigallocatechin Gallate (EGCG), which is believed to be responsible for its many benefits. It may also improve the look of sun-damaged skin.

Peptides Palmitoyl Dipeptide-5 Diaminobutyroyl Hydroxythreonine and Palmitoyl Dipeptide-5 Diaminohydroxybutyrate are among the best anti-ageing peptides in skin care. These patented ingredients have been shown to deliver visible results by stimulating the production of proteins in the skin, such as collagen. Put simply, they help with skin elasticity, firmness, volume.

Linoleic Acid and Linolenic Acid are two of the most important oils for skin and keep it healthy. These essential fatty acids help the skin barrier to heal and regenerate so that it can better defend itself and retain moisture. They also help with healing and inflammation.
