Avène A-Oxitive Night Peeling Cream is a Retinal cream that goes to work at night to renew and revitalise the skin by supporting repair and boosting cell turnover.

This potent cream uses the most advanced OTC retinoid on the market, Retinal, and innovative peptides to tackle multiple signs of skin ageing.

Wrinkles will be smoothed, skin will feel firmer and discolourations will be improved.

Your skin will feel firm and look radiant.

Why Avène A-Oxitive Night Peeling Cream?

Avène A-Oxitive Night Peeling Cream works with the body’s own processes while you sleep to boost cellular activity. The powerful actives smooth wrinkles, refine skin texture and promote a more even tone, as well as reduce breakouts.

This cream uses innovative gradual release technology to optimise effectiveness and minimise potential irritation.

Avène A-Oxitive Night Peeling Cream has been developed to deliver results while still being gentle on the skin.

A comparative dermatological study conducted for Avène showed that one application nightly of Avène A-Oxitive Night Peeling Cream for eight weeks was equivalent to three Glycolic Acid peels.

Avène A-Oxitive Night Peeling Cream ingredients

Avène Thermal Sping Water has soothing and anti-irritant properties that are especially helpful for those with sensitive skin or anyone first starting to use a retinoid.

Retinaldehyde, or Retinal for short, is a big deal when it comes to OTC retinoids. Retinal delivers more punch and works faster than its cousin Retinol, but it does so without being more irritating. Retinoids are powerhouse actives that amp up cell turnover so that the skin is renewing itself faster, promoting a more youthful appearance.

Oleoyl Dipeptide-15 protects crucial components found between skin cells, known as the extracellular matrix,  from being damaged and degraded, helping  the skin to keep more of its bounce, firmness and smoothness.

Oleoyl Tetrapeptide-31 is an antioxidant peptide proprietary to Avène that may stimulate skin regeneration and the production of collagen and elastin.

Vitamin E is a superstar antioxidant helping the skin to fight off free radical damage and repair itself.

Evening Primrose Oil comes from the small seeds of the evening star plant, whose flowers open only at dusk. Evening Primrose Oil is rich in essential fatty acids and vitamins, helping to nourish the skin and strengthen its barrier function.

Brand ethos

Avène’s story is as wonderful as its location in a picturesque village in the south of France. It all began in 1736 when a Marquis’ horse discovered the healing powers of a local spring. The Marquis soon established thermal baths at the site and news of the therapeutic benefits of the thermal spring water attracted patients from all around.

In 1975, Pierre Fabre Laboratories acquired the Avène thermal spa and undertook a comprehensive scientific research program to understand Avène Thermal Spring Water’s effects on sensitive skin.

But it wasn’t until 1990, though, that Avène first launched a commercial product, the now famous Avène Thermal Spring Water.

Avène has achieved ISO 14001 certification for its environmental management practices, including use of renewable energy sources.

The brand remains a leading force in sensitive skincare, staying true to its French heritage and the power of nature’s soothing waters.

Avène A-Oxitive Night Peeling Cream review

The wrinkles between my eyebrows look less defined and generally my skin looks smoothed. I use this every third day and I have noticed an improvement. It  also evens out skin tone. I recommend this as I have very sensitive and it did not trigger rosacea.
