Why Oskia Super C?

Oskia Super C uses a new and advanced form of Vitamin C that is stabilised and doesn’t oxidise.

The oil base means that this Vitamin C penetrates deeper and remains in the skin longer. Unlike L-Ascorbic Acid, these capsules aren’t irritating.

Oskia Super C ingredients

Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate is an oil-soluble form of Vitamin C that is stable and more easily penetrates into the skin. Oskia says this is a superior form of Vitamin C as it works synergistically to provide better skin results at a lower concentration than L-Ascorbic Acid.

Oskia takes the position that L-Ascorbic Acid is unstable and therefore can become pro-oxidant and cause cellular damage. For this reason, it prefers to use a 2% encapsulated Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate, which it claims is proven to be more effective than 20% L-Ascorbic Acid.

Vitamin E and Tomato Lycopene provide further antioxidant protection. . Together, these antioxidants further protect against free radicals, environmental stressors and oxidant damage.

Jojoba and Sweet Almond Oil for their omega fatty acids and phytosterols, which deeply nourish the skin.

Squalane and Squalene, derived from plants, help restore the lipid barrier, balance the skin’s natural oils and improve hydration.

The capsules perfectly preserve the Vitamin C serum. They’re ideal for single use and are super travel friendly.

Really love everything about this product. Waited quite a while to try it, begrudgingly finishing up another Vitamin C serum – wish I had chucked that much sooner and got onto these. So much better! I love that it’s in capsules — no oxidisation here, spoiling the product too quickly. I am often guilty of slathering a product on, having this pre-dosed is also a huge plus. Less wastage and probably more effective using the correct amount! The product itself is silky smooth to apply, feels oily but nicely so, it’s light and not overly greasy. My skin feels plumped up and hydrated, and it goes well under my moisturiser. The other Vitamin C serum I used, for comparison, was thick and sticky, felt unpleasant hours later and didn’t mix well with my other products. This one is a winner for me and despite the price tag, I know I’ll re-purchase. A new staple, investment for me.
