Retinal is also known as Retinaldehyde and is proven to work up to 11 faster than its cousin Retinol. Unlike other forms of vitamin A, Retinal has direct antibacterial properties. It’s able to target acne-causing bacteria, promoting a visibly healthy and clear complexion.

This serum is formulated with 0.1% encapsulated Retinal, one of the highest levels found in cosmetic skin care products. Encapsulation allows the Retinal penetrate more deeply in the skin and to reduce irritation. This not only means better results, but also less dryness, irritation and flaking.

Hyaluronic Acid has a unique ability to attract and hold moisture so that the skin is visibly plumped and smooth.

Vitamin E is an oil-soluble antioxidant that helps prevent free radicals causing premature skin ageing. It also stabilises the Retinaldehyde to ensure it maintains maximum effectiveness.

I have acne-prone skin and, when I first heard about Crystal Retinal, I had to try it. I worked my way up from 3 to 6 to now 10. I have just finished a course of Roaccutane so my skin is much clearer, largely due to that, however this is keeping my skin clear and I have really noticed the difference in the red marks… I enjoy waking up and seeing my skin, something I never thought I would after years of struggling with blemishes and acne. I also do not find this drying at all, which is amazing.
