It contains proven ingredients that are moisturise, soften, repair and protect.

Marine Collagen (2%) is a hydrating ingredient that plumps the skin and enhances elasticity. It has been shown to reduce the look of wrinkles and promote healing. In addition, Marine Collagen protects the skin from premature ageing due to its antioxidants.

Glycerin is a wonderful hydrating ingredient that, like Hyaluronic Acid, draws moisture to the skin, helping it to plump, soften and smooth.

Allantoin is well known for its healing properties, calming redness, soothing irritation and nourishing the skin.

Lactococcus Ferment is a fermented bacterial filtrate that promotes a healthy skin microbiome. It also is anti-inflammatory, moisturising and has antioxidant benefits.

Mavala is a Swiss-based company that has been around for more than 60 years.

It has its own scientific laboratories in Geneva where it researches and develops its carefully formulated products.

The company sources ingredients and raw materials from the nearest suppliers to reduce its carbon footprint and increasingly uses materials that are biodegradable. Additionally, it does not use plastic microbeads or cyclopentasiloxane (D5) due to their impact on ocean pollution.

Mavala preferentially uses recycled glass and plastic for its products and avoids the unnecessary use of boxes or cellophane wraps.

The company also seeks to manufacture under cold conditions to reduce unnecessary energy consumption.
