Avena Sativa is recognised for its ability to soothe and calm the skin. Avena Sativa contains many beneficial compounds. These include beta-glucans, which have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and hydrating properties. It also contains nourishing lipids to strengthen and rebuild the skin barrier. Avena Sativa is officially classified as an active ingredient. It’s a superb ingredient for dry, irritated or inflamed skin conditions.

Squalane mimics your skin’s own natural oils. This skin-compatible moisturising ingredient also contains antioxidants and fatty acids. Squalane has a lovely emollient texture and, given it’s already found in the skin, it absorbs easily.

Trehaolose is a type of sugar that acts as an antioxidant and hydrator. It also has calming, anti-redness properties. It’s found abundantly in plants and fungi and plays a unique protective role, allowing cells that have become dehydrated to rehydrate without damage.
