Description
Bioderma Pigmentbio Sensitive Areas is a targeted treatment that improves the look of skin discolourations.
Some areas of the body develop darker pigment, such as the underarms, inner thighs, knees, elbows and bikini area. This can occur due to friction, hair removal or skin reactivity.
Bioderma Pigmentbio Sensitive Areas brightens and evens out tone in these areas using gentle but effective active ingredients.
The cream also helps prevent recurrence by reducing redness, irritation and inflammation, while also regulating the biological mechanisms that cause this skin darkening.
The special combination of active ingredients has been patented by Bioderma.

Bioderma Pigmentbio Sensitive Areas ingredients
Bioderma Pigmentbio Sensitive Areas combines active ingredients that target the root cause of hyperpigmentation.

Glabridin, extracted from liquorice root, has skin brightening, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. Glabridin inhibits the enzyme tyrosinase, which is responsible for melanin production. By inhibiting tyrosinase, glabridin can help reduce the amount of melanin produced, leading to a brighter complexion.
Azelaic Acid is a mild acid that helps that helps lighten discolourations by inhibiting the production of melanin, the pigment that gives skin its colour. It also improves redness and rosacea by reducing inflammation and inhibiting the growth of bacteria. Azelaic Acid is also an antioxidant and protects skin against free radical damage and premature ageing.
Salicylic Acid is a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) that gently exfoliates the skin and unclogs pores.
