Description

A313 Cosmetic Cream is a cult favourite among French women and one of their best beauty secrets.

This topical Vitamin A  is used as an over-the-counter alternative to prescription Tretinoin.

It’s recognised globally for its ability to deliver outstanding anti-ageing results.

And now you can get the original and best version in Australia.

Why A313 Cream?

A313 Cream is a pharmaceutical-grade topical Vitamin A product that’s known by just about every French woman.

It uses Retinyl Esters, in a base of Polyethylene Glycol, to deliver its benefits deep into the skin.

A313 Cream firms the skin, improves tone, refines texture and helps clear congestion.

A313 Cream ingredients

This cream has a limited ingredient list that makes Retinyl Esters the hero.

These comprise Retinyl Acetate, Retinyl Propionate and Retinyl Palmitate.

It contains 0.6 grams of Retinyl Esters in each 50 gram tube. This converts to a concentration equivalent to about 0.12% of Retinol.

The Retinyl Esters are suspended in Polyethylene Glycol (Macrogol), which helps to stabilise the actives and enables them to penetrate more deeply into the skin. The stabilisation also prevents the Retinol Esters from breaking down and preserves their potency.

The only other ingredient is Polysorbate 80, which mainly comprises fatty acids. The Polysorbate gives the product a light balm texture and further helps with penetration.

Only a very small amount of the cream is needed.

It has a thick texture that’s more like that of a balm.

Benefits

  • Promotes collagen production to soften the look of wrinkles.
  • Visibly improves uneven tone and pigmentation.
  • Softens the skin and smooths texture.
  • Speeds cell turnover and the clearing of congested pores.

Best for

Given the balm texture, this is better suited to those with dry, normal or sensitive skin.

Good to know

A313 Cream contains no oils, parabens, silicones or sulphates.

It uses synthetically derived retinol esters.

Fragrance free.

This is the original French version containing three forms of Retinyl Esters, not the US version containing only Retinyl Palmitate.

We express air-ship the product and correctly store it in an air-conditioned environment to protect its actives and maintain its effectiveness. Don’t risk buying counterfeit or heat-damaged product.

Warning: Do not use if pregnant or breast-feeding.

Perfect pairs

This is best paired with skin care products that reduce dryness and irritation, especially when you’re first start using this cream.

Apply a quality moisturiser that soothes, moisturises and protects the skin, morning and evening. You may like the Oskia 360 Renaissance Supreme Cream.

Your skin will benefit from gentle exfoliation 1-2 times a week when using this product. Consider the Comfort Zone Essential Peeling Enzymatic Mask. It gently removes dead skin from the surface of the skin without using acids or abrasion, while also promoting hydration and improving dullness.

Avoid using acids at the same time as using this Vitamin A cream.

Brand ethics

A313  Cream is a leading brand of Pharma Development, a leading pharmaceutical laboratory founded in 1991.

Based in Burgundy, France, it manufactures drugs, food supplements, hygiene products and skin care.

This product has developed a cult following around the world, including in Australia.

A313 Cream review

After about three months of use, I noticed that my skin was smoother, more even-toned and had more of a glow… and dare I say it, it even seemed plumper. This stuff works some kind of magic overnight because when you wake up, your face just seems fuller and firmer, as well as softer and more hydrated. I’ve never had results like that from any other skin care product!

1 review for A313 Cosmetic Cream

  1. Anna Marie

When it comes to pharmaceutical skin care, the French are world leaders. A313 Cream is one of their most famous products. You’ve probably heard that retinol esters are the weakest among retinoids, but this product delivers results unlike others. Something about the concentration and delivery base make this an exceptional product. I’m experienced in using retinoids so was surprised to find how strong and effective this cream is. It works to improve the look of fine lines, texture, pores and overall clarity. It has a balm texture that’s smooth and velvety and doesn’t leave a greasy finish. Given it’s not a liquid serum, you do need to work it into the skin. But don’t be tempted to use more than the smallest amount. It delivers quite some bang for your buck. Five stars.
