The key ingredients are:

Hyaluronic Acid provides deep hydration and plumps the skin. Two weights of Hyaluronic Acid have been used. The high molecular weight forms an imperceptible film on the skin to attract and hold moisture while the low molecular weight penetrates more deeply to supplement the reserves of Hyaluronic Acid naturally found in the skin. Blue Sea Kale, otherwise known as Crambe Maritima, is a species of the halophytic flowering plant. It grows wild in the North Atlantic and the Black Sea. This plant-derived collagen hydrates the skin and protects it from premature ageing, helping to minimise the look of fine lines and wrinkles. Blue Sea Kale is sought after for its ability to stimulate new stem cells, collagen, hyaluronic acid and urea in the skin. An added bonus is its antioxidant properties, making it an all-round great anti-ager. It’s used in this serum for its soothing, revitalising and smoothing and effects.

Gardenia Cell Culture, or Jasminoides Meristem, is claimed to regenerate stem cells, promote collagen production and enhance the skin’s elasticity.

Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, otherwise known as Pal-GHK, is a famous peptide that can help visibly repair the skin and strengthen the underlying dermis. Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 is found in the famous Matrixyl 3000, one of the most recognised peptides in the world.

This messenger peptide sends signals that tell the skin how to improve itself by correcting the visible signs of damage, such as wrinkles, sagging and rough texture.

• When collagen is damaged in the skin, peptide fragments tell it to undertake repair. Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 may be able to signal to the skin that it needs to build more collagen.
• Proteins such as collagen and elastin are found in the dermis and form part of its structural support of the skin. They are essential to keeping the skin looking firm and bouncy. More collagen means younger-looking skin.

There’s some research to show that Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 has similar effects to Retinol.
